EGT: Equity Governance Token
EGT is the governance and profit-sharing token of the EURG protocol. It empowers holders to influence key parameters, participate in value capture, and co-own the system’s long-term growth.

Governance rights: Propose and vote on protocol changes
Revenue share: Claim stablecoin dividends from platform profits
Incentives: Earn through EURG staking, LP mining, or DAO contributions
Growth equity: Reflects the underlying performance of the EURG ecosystem
EGT represents tokenized protocol equity — a new model of on-chain shareholder governance.

EURG protocol adopts a progressive decentralization model, starting with a core team multisig and transitioning to community DAO control.

Governance rights are granted to:
Stakers of xGOLD or xSILVER
Holders of governance LP tokens (e.g., EURG-xGOLD pool)
EGT holders with direct proposal and voting power

Execution delay: Minimum time buffer for passed proposals
Quorum requirement: Minimum voting participation for validity
Blacklisting defense: Ability to block malicious contract proposals
Multisig oversight (initial phase): 3-of-5 core team for emergency veto
These measures ensure responsible evolution and stakeholder alignment.
